i'm back.

so a big thumbs up for never posting, right? i have been so completely busy with school and clinical and work. clinical by the way = amazing. i have so many stories and i have gotten to do so much more this semester than i ever did last semester. but unfortunately with two clinical sites. two days of classes and working when ever i get the second. i dont have much time to spend blogging. i didnt even think people read this until my good buddy, john, said something. so here we go. i am going to write something.

something.

ha. just kidding i will write more than that. ok lets get back to these 30 days of truth. day 06: something you hope you never have to do.

this is kinda a hard one. there are so many things that come to mind. i keep thinking of things that i never want to do. they are all hard things. really hard things. like informing a patients family that he couldnt fight anymore and now he's gone. or losing one of my family members or friends. but in the end. i think that God really uses those situations to help you grow. and maybe, just maybe, He will put you through this because one day you will meet someone and they are going through the same thing. and maybe, just maybe, sharing a little bit of your heart and pain will some how make it just a little bit easier for that person. maybe that season of mourning or grief or pain, is there to prepare you for a future you dont know that exists. maybe that season of hurt is there to prepare you for so much more than what you have planned for yourself. if you think you have big plans for your life, God has something so much better. that is, only if you can surrender your own plans and run the race that He has placed in front of you.

11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile." Jeremiah 29:11-14

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2
